About the Role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of projects within the organization by designing, implementing, and refining monitoring and evaluation systems. This position is pivotal as it ensures that the impact of programs is accurately assessed and reported, facilitating evidence-based improvements. Key Responsibilities

• The M&E Manager will design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks that align with organizational goals and donor expectations.
• They will develop logical frameworks, theories of change, and performance measurement plans that guide project implementation and assessment.
• Regular monitoring of project activities will be conducted to ensure adherence to approved work plans and performance indicators.
• Data collection tools and methodologies will be designed and overseen, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information gathered for analysis.
• The Manager will analyze performance data using appropriate statistical methods and prepare detailed reports for various stakeholders, enhancing transparency and accountability.
• They will coordinate evaluations, manage external consultants, and ensure that findings are disseminated effectively to inform future program strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A relevant degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field is required for this role.
• At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation within a non-profit or development organization is expected.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools are essential for effective performance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills will be necessary for engaging with various stakeholders, including donors and program teams.
• Experience in designing M&E frameworks and conducting evaluations will be a significant advantage in this role.
