As the official dealer of Beko and Dr. Mattress, Kafkas Limited relies on the specialist to maintain product availability and manage logistics efficiently. In the initial months, you will engage deeply with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, learning to navigate the complexities of supply chain operations. Your proactive approach will be critical in optimizing stock levels and addressing any logistical challenges that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage product orders with suppliers, ensuring that the entire order cycle is followed from placement to delivery.
Coordinating inbound logistics operations will be a key part of your role, facilitating the movement of products from suppliers to our warehouse.
Preparing and controlling all necessary shipping, import, and customs clearance documents is essential to ensure compliance with regulations.
Following up on customs clearance processes with relevant parties will be crucial to avoid delays in product availability.
Monitoring stock levels will help you support stock counts and ensure that all system entries are accurate.
Taking timely actions to prevent stock shortages will be part of your responsibility, ensuring that operations run smoothly.
Handling local purchasing activities based on the company’s needs will allow you to develop strong relationships with suppliers.
Regularly preparing supply chain, stock, and purchasing reports for management will provide insights into operational performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required for this position.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or import operations is essential.
Experience managing supply chain operations across different sourcing locations will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of order management, reporting, inbound logistics, customs clearance, and reverse logistics processes is expected.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow and control orders accurately is crucial for success in this role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary, and experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Good communication skills in English will facilitate effective coordination with various stakeholders.
