Key Responsibilities
You will operate various types of sweepers and related heavy equipment to ensure that all roadways and airfields are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
Your role includes conducting pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure the equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
Safely removing debris, sand, vegetation, and foreign objects from designated areas is a core responsibility that must adhere to both Navy and Amentum standards.
Maintaining accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance actions will be crucial to tracking the operational history of the machines you handle.
You will coordinate with supervisors and various departments to facilitate both scheduled and unscheduled cleaning operations effectively.
It is essential to follow all safety procedures, traffic rules, and operational guidelines diligently while operating heavy equipment to ensure your safety and that of your coworkers.

Requirements & Qualifications
A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in operating sweepers, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is required for this position.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory to ensure you have the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
You must possess a valid country driver’s license, allowing you to operate the equipment legally and safely.
Fluency in English is essential; you should be able to read, speak, and comprehend the language effectively to meet contract requirements.
Having a valid passport that remains so for at least one year at the time of hiring is necessary for potential travel related to the position.
