About the Role
The Solution Architect position at Ericsson is a pivotal role focused on the delivery of innovative Communication Services solutions. Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the deployment and configuration of Communication Services products, ensuring they are tailored to customer specifications and operational requirements.
- Your role will involve preparing and executing system tests, module tests, and acceptance tests to validate product performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with business partners, you will identify areas for improvement in delivery processes, enhancing efficiency and service quality.
- As a key team member, you will work closely with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during product delivery.
- You will maintain and update comprehensive solution documentation, ensuring all processes and configurations are accurately recorded for future reference.
- Your feedback to the Research and Development team will be crucial for suggesting enhancements to the product portfolio based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
- Participating in knowledge transfer sessions, you will contribute to the sharing of insights and best practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies will be vital, as you will share insights that help build customer competence in utilizing our solutions effectively.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for this technical role.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications sector, particularly in the delivery and implementation of cloud infrastructure or software virtualization.
- Proven familiarity with the CS Core Portfolio, including components such as MSC-S, MGW, and CTC, is essential for effective product deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of the IMS Portfolio, including MTAS, CSCF, SBC, MRF, DNS, and ENUM, is crucial for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment is vital, along with results-driven planning and organizational skills.
- Additional programming skills are considered an asset, as they can enhance your contribution to the team’s technical capabilities.
