About the Role
This position as an Apigee Engineer with a leading global consumer food company is crucial in shaping how the company leverages technology to enhance its business operations. Key Responsibilities
You will lead the technical implementation of Apigee and Apigee Hybrid within AKS and AWS environments, ensuring robust infrastructure management.
Your tasks include maintaining the health and performance of application infrastructure, providing hands-on technical guidance for IT infrastructure management products.
Collaboration with peers, technology partners, and vendors will be essential as you identify and automate patches while resolving technical issues.
You will support and manage APIs and Microservices, utilizing Java and Spring Boot to ensure high performance and reliability.
The role requires you to create, organize, and implement efficient API support processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
Actively perform cloud security measures and manage certificate operations to safeguard the company’s digital assets.
Moreover, you will develop strategic long-range plans aimed at proactively resolving issues and preventing their recurrence.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience with the Apigee API Management Platform is essential for success in this role.
Strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in Java or scripting, alongside familiarity with automation tools such as Python or Shell scripting.
You should possess 3+ years of experience working with Red Hat Linux or UNIX systems, showcasing your technical versatility.
Experience with Kubernetes for containerized implementations will be critical in managing the deployment of applications.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
