About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Your primary task will be to accurately pick items from designated shelves or racks based on the provided order list, utilizing scanners or manifests to ensure precision.
• You will be responsible for packing, sealing, labeling, and barcoding parcels to comply with quality and safety standards, ensuring all packages meet customer expectations.
• Performing quality checks will be essential, as you will need to verify that the correct SKUs and quantities are packed and that all products are free from damage.
• Maintaining inventory hygiene is crucial; you will report any shortages, damages, or misplaced stock to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Keeping your packing station clean, organized, and compliant with safety norms will be part of your daily routine, adhering to 5S principles.
• You will strive to meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets set by the company, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
• Coordination with supervisors and other team members will be necessary to facilitate a smooth outbound flow of goods, ensuring timely dispatch.
• Following standard operating procedures for using material handling equipment and personal protective equipment will be critical to maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum educational qualification of 10th or 12th grade is required, with graduates also welcome to apply for this role.
• Basic reading and counting skills in English, Hindi, or a local language will be important for interpreting labels and manifests accurately.
• You should be comfortable using handheld scanners and basic applications, though training will be provided to enhance your technical skills.
• A strong attention to detail and a focus on quality will be necessary to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Physical fitness is essential, as the role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting light to moderate weights throughout the shift.
