About the Role

As a Meteorology Software Quality Assurance Tester at Scopic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and performance of a cutting-edge weather visualization platform. Key Responsibilities

• You will conduct thorough manual testing of the web-based weather visualization platform to ensure all features operate correctly and reliably.

• Participating in live testing events during severe weather occurrences will allow you to actively contribute to the platform’s performance during critical situations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A current student or recent graduate in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a closely related field is preferred.

• Experience using various weather applications and data sources is essential for effective testing and feedback.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail will help you identify discrepancies and improve the product.
• Excellent communication skills are crucial for documenting bugs clearly and collaborating with team members remotely.
• Familiarity with QA principles, including exploratory and regression testing, will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
