Main Purpose of the Role:
The Analyst – Credit Vetting will be responsible for evaluating customer credit risks, determining credit eligibility, setting appropriate exposure limits, and supporting secure revenue growth. The role ensures accurate credit assessments, compliance with company policies, and timely approval of customer services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate customer credit applications to determine creditworthiness.
- Analyze financial records, payment history, and other risk factors to support credit decisions.
- Ensure all credit assessments comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
- Conduct detailed credit assessments for Enterprise customers.
- Carry out periodic credit reviews and adjust customer exposure limits where necessary.
- Process credit applications within agreed timelines to support efficient customer onboarding.
- Approve, reject, or escalate credit requests based on established risk guidelines and approval authority.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and take appropriate action when limits are exceeded.
- Identify high-risk accounts and recommend risk mitigation measures such as deposits or service restrictions.
- Support smooth customer onboarding through timely and accurate credit decisions.
- Provide credit guidance and recommendations for high-value enterprise sales opportunities.
- Communicate credit decisions, explanations, and required risk controls clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage escalated credit matters professionally and provide appropriate risk-based recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit records for all credit assessments and decisions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely credit information.
- Identify opportunities to improve credit assessment and service provisioning processes.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives, including credit scoring tools and workflow systems.
- Contribute to the improvement of credit policies, procedures, and operational practices.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience in credit risk management, service provisioning, or telecommunications finance.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer management processes and revenue assurance practices.
