As a Program Manager & Enterprise Data Governance Consultant at Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in leading a transformative Data Governance initiative for a major insurance provider. This position is essential for ensuring that the organization effectively manages its data assets while aligning with strategic business objectives. In the initial months, you can expect to immerse yourself in understanding the company’s data landscape, engaging with stakeholders, and establishing a governance framework that sets the foundation for long-term success. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison for executive leadership, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with business stakeholders and project sponsors throughout the entire engagement.
Develop and oversee the comprehensive program plan, which includes delivery roadmaps, project milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and transparency.
Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and executive governance reviews, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or questions that arise.
Manage the project scope, budget, and change requests effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the program are delivered on time and within budget while mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
Lead the creation of the enterprise Data Governance Strategy and multi-year Governance Roadmap that aligns with the organization’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
Design and implement the governance operating model, which includes establishing roles such as Governance Council, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians to ensure accountability and effective decision-making processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
A proven track record of managing enterprise data governance programs and leading organizational transformation efforts.
Significant experience in stakeholder management and communication, particularly with executive-level leadership and cross-functional teams.
A strong understanding of data governance best practices, including the establishment of governance operating principles and frameworks.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data environments and propose innovative solutions that drive organizational change.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
